He stands in the corner and screams. The conversations continue as usual. They don't need to hear his cries. He cries   for help-   for warning-   for attention. They ignore. As they always have. It's okay-    She tells him. They're just missing out. But he knows better. He sees past her comfort. They need to listen. A truth she never understood. (it's okay though, he still loves her) So he carries on. Goes back the next day and the next and the next. To his corner And he screams.   for help-   for warning-   for attention. Then he goes home and weeps into her arms. Yet another day- And they still don't

my heart is tired, it can't keep up.  hurts to sing  and laugh. i struggle to stay standing,  giving up in  the end. i just can't expel any more effort.  my heart needs more  than they can give me; needs to rest by quiet waters      cool grass      warm sun   You beside me all that dreaming wore me out,  i need to rest. my heart is tired it can't keep up
